The “Doctoral Contract for Students with Disabilities” call launched by the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESRI) will be renewed for 2026. Its aim is to encourage students with disabilities to pursue doctoral studies by offering funded doctoral contracts to candidates who have a PhD research project and who are officially recognized as beneficiaries of the employment obligation.

HOW TO APPLY

The next application call will open from February 2026.

Following the local selection process, the Doctoral School (CED) will forward the applications to the Ministry, where they will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee for Doctoral Studies and Disability, composed of scientific advisors appointed to the Directorate General for Higher Education and Professional Integration. Candidates will be notified of the committee’s decision at the end of June.
